A surging pulsation from within and without
like a gigantic earth cakra throbbing with vitality
on the spot where sounds of universal mantra reverberate

old wounds healing,
new connections revealing
the flight of fears and depth of familiarity

joining into a whirlwind of painful ecstasy
meaningful yet unfathomable
with a sense of fulfillment in the smallest steps forwards

new Syrian friend and Arundatta sing and drum with me
a kirtan tune to rally the masses
like a stream of pied pipers dancing towards the crimson dawn
