Performing Monday at SOAS Music Day

HI there
Its really been an intense week as I prepare for my PhD presentation on Rarhi kirtan this Tuesday at SOAS. This beautiful weather is not helping, it just makes me want to be at my beach, Te Henga, where my little house is in NZ.
Anyway wishes are free!

I am performing on Monday the 9th, with some wonderful musicians Amitabha (piano), Shuman (tabla) and Shzr Eee (accordian) at SOAS on Music Day. There will be many great performances all day, till 6 pm or so, by different musicians from all over the globe, so come and see and hear us all if you can.

My small group is performing at 2.30 pm a few songs from Prabhat Samgiit, a contemporary collection of over 5018 songs written between 1983 and 2000 by Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar. Prabhat Samgiit are devotional songs from differnt genres, baul (mystic) , kirtan (praise songs), classical, jhumur (folk) and for every imaginable occasion or situation, songs so divine they will make your heart cry, sing, fall in love, feel a multitude of emotions, true gems.

lots of love
