Canary Wharf performance

as my time at SOAS nears to an end, and the later stages of my thesis writing going ahead, I spend my time at Canary Wharf sometimes, just singing the blues, or bliss, depending on how I feel. I don't often look up at the esclators full of moving suits but when I do I see a throng of busy people hurrying towards their ambitions. They also don't often look back at me, but sometimes a few of them do and when that happens and our eyes meet I imagine them thinking "what are you singing about, who are you?" and in the poignancy of that moment I can feel the silent connection between two people where there's no time to give answers with words, only signals that come out as sounds like morse code in the middle of a stormy night
