Today I have the priviledge to pay a small tribute to Michael Jackson, and to remember the grief felt by the families who lost a friend or family member in the London Bombings.
I sang a couple of songs on the Passport show, on SW1 radio hosted by Phil Hogg, featuring world music that went out live from London today at 10.30 till 12. One of the songs, "I will love you till the Day I die" I dedicated to Michael and the victims of the London Bombings. Many people are presently reliving their grief from that time and millions are grieving the loss of Michael and his music, which has been present in our lives for 40 odd years and deeply touched millions of people of all walks of life. His life was not easy, as money and fame does not buy everything, but I believe it was a fulfilling one because he had the opportunity to give so much to the world, and he also had three beautiful children to be so proud of. I pay my salutations to this loving, sensitive, creative genius and I will miss him very much.
